This Project called Steam Trains is a direct investment of the Asociación Uruguaya Amigos del Riel called A.U.A.R. and borned as response to an increasing and ineluctable need to make a concrete contribution to the recovery of our historical - cultural patrimony, recreating the legendary railway tradition of Uruguay, by means of reactivating running of old steam trains in this country.






























It raised through recovery of railway material in disuse contributed by the Government Railroad Administration called A.F.E., consistent of a locomotive to steam, two passengers´ coaches and an auxiliary coach.
